Editorial policy
How we create and review content.
Rionux is educational, independent, and neutral. This policy explains how our guides and tools are made, checked, and kept accurate — and what we will never do.
Our purpose
Rionux publishes educational content and interactive tools to help people understand long-term investing. Nothing on Rionux is financial, investment, tax, or legal advice, and nothing should be acted on as a personalized recommendation.
How our content is created
Guides and explanations are written to teach a concept clearly, with worked examples and interactive tools rather than jargon. We aim for accuracy, neutrality, and clarity, and we frame every projected outcome as a result "under these assumptions", never a prediction.
How our tools are built and checked
Each calculator is a deterministic, finite-guarded model with unit tests covering its formulas, edge cases, and a guarantee that it never produces broken values. Tools are reviewed for correctness against hand-computed scenarios before release. The modelling approach is documented on our methodology page.
Accuracy, sources, and updates
We base concepts on widely accepted, standard financial definitions and cite sources on the methodology page. If we find an error, we correct it and update the page's "Updated" date. Content is revised as needed to stay accurate and clear.
Independence and disclosure
Rionux is independent. If we ever introduce advertising or affiliate links, they will be clearly disclosed and will never change the neutrality of our educational content or imply a recommendation.
No personalized advice
Our tools cannot know your full financial situation. Use them to learn and explore, and consult a qualified professional before making decisions.
